Free Three Credit Bureau Report – 3 Scores

I recently ordered a copy of my 3 in 1 credit report. I have the following issues:
1. Experian did not give any results, I tried to order a report directly from them and they said that they could not confirm my identity. What does this mean? Could there be things on this report that are not reported w/ the two other bureaus?

2. There are addresses listed as prev addresses where I’ve never lived, but no debt associated w/ them. Does this matter?

3. I have about 6 debts, totaling about $1500. How should I pay this off, I want to get it over asap.

4. I have one account that was charged-off last year, should I bother to pay this at all?

5. My ex-boyfriend had the gas connected in his name at our old apartment, then the gas comp put it on my account. The account is on my credit report now, but I don’t understand how they can do this. Is it too late to dispute it since it’s in collections?
I also forgot that if I settle with companies, will they send me something in the mail before I send the agreed upon amount?
