Marc Marseille asked:

A 3 credit bureau report can be useful for various reasons. There are 3 key credit bureaus: Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion, and each of them have their own knowledge about your credit, so to obtain a good credit score, you need all three.

Several financial institutions require a good score with all 3 credit agencies before they will approve you. For example, a house loan won’t be approved if you have a bad credit rating from 2 out of the 3 bureaus. You also will not qualify for low cost life insurance, a credit card with a low interest rate, or some cases even an apartment. In essence, knowing your three score can save you time from applying to services which you already know you will not be approve for.

Another advantage about knowing your 3 credit bureau report score is that it can show you if somebody has been defrauding you or hijacking your credit profile. If, for example, somebody has been opening accounts in your good name without your knowledge, that information will show up on your 3 credit score report as derogatory. The knowledge of this information will allow you to take legitimate action to get the derogatory items removed from your credit bureau report.

There are many ways you can enhance your credit rating, but none of these tactics can be implemented if you do not know your credit score. One solution to improving your score is to acquire a couple secured visa cards and pay off your bills before they are due. If you continually pay off your balances in a timely manner, this will affect your credit score in positive way.

In addition to paying your bills on time, maintaining a low balance on your revolving accounts and credit cards are mandatory. High balances reflects someone who is strap for money which creditors tend to stay away from. You may be surprised at how many points your credit can rise by simply reducing your balances.

In the long run, it is worth it for you to keep your credit in good standing, because it means you will be able to qualify the things that are important to you. The ability to stay on top of your finances does not have to be difficult, the main thing is not living beyond your means. The more discipline your are now, the more rewards you will receive in the future.

Theodore

Marc Marseille asked:

A good credit score report is the key to financial opportunities in personal finances as well as business. There are several obstacles that someone has to overcome to achieve a decent credit score. The biggest obstacle of all is keeping your credit score and report in high status; triple alert credit monitoring services can help.

The advantages of getting your 3 credit bureau monitoring set up are several. Besides the ability to know your credit standing at all times, there also concerns such as identity theft, mistakes by the credit bureaus and mistakes by your creditors.

Identity theft is still one of the most fastest growing crimes in America and shows little signs of slowing down. The reason why this crime is so widespread has to do with people’s carelessness when it comes to protecting their credit. Common mistakes people make are not shredding important documents, giving their important information over the phone and not getting triple alert monitoring. All these precautions are necessary to protect your good credit.

The 3 credit bureau monitoring services can help consumers to ensure that they will know whenever there is a change to their report. Since stopping identity theft altogether, controlling human error and trusting the creditors to report accurately every time is not a reality, triple alert credit monitoring is the best option possible.

The advantages of triple alert credit monitoring starts working on your behalf as soon as there is new transaction on your report. If there is a new account open in your name, you will be alerted. If your credit score drops or increases you will also be notified. Most importantly, you can stop identity theft before it happens because you will be alerted when obsessive inquiries are being made.

The best advantage of all is you will be the first one to know about activities to your profile. This knowledge puts the power back in your hands. You do not have to wonder whether or not you will qualify for financing, you will know firsthand what you are dealing with when it comes to your personal finances.

Being smart and utilizing all the safety measures available to protect your credit is a must. Implementing these safety measures although important, may not be enough to dodge the relentless strategies of identity thieves. Employing a triple alert 3 credit monitoring system for less than a dollar a day will help protect the investments that your hard work and integrity established.

Roger

Mike Clover asked:

After taking the first step of obtaining a free credit score report, the next most common step to improving your credit score is to correct any errors that might be present. Strangely enough, errors do occur, and it is well worth taking the time to dispel such inconsistencies. You must carefully scrutinize the report in order to correct things like account numbers, names, wrong information, as well as items that are out of date. The last error type is the most common mistake and when corrected can have an important impact on your score.

There are guidelines that regulate how long certain kind of information can be recorded in your credit score. For example, most undesirable information that is over seven years old may be removed. This includes lawsuits, judgments, paid tax liens, accounts dispatched for collection, records of criminal activity (other than convictions), late payments, and even child support and many other pieces of possibly adverse information. This is great news for those that have blemishes on their credit report from years ago. These things will not show up forever. Even insolvencies that are older than ten years can be dismissed from your score. Getting rid of this outdated undesirable information can have an immediate impact on your score, especially depending on the severity of the problem.

It may seem silly, but it is just as important to check things like your Social Security number, name, address, phone number, and information concerning your occupation. These mistakes might be outdated or simply entered incorrectly. These errors actually do occur. In the same way, errors also occur concerning your involvement with certain accounts. It is possible that suits or credit accounts that do not belong to you show up on your credit report. This is also true of accounts that have been paid in full. Sometimes these accounts may not have been updated and still show an outstanding balance.

By filling out a request for reinvestigation form or writing a letter, you can correct these errors that are detrimental to your overall credit score. You should, as carefully as possible, reference every inaccurate or outdated piece of data that appears on your report as well as describe why that information is incorrect. The reporting agency will then investigate those items and contact you within 30 days to notify you of any changes. This process may also be expedited if you are trying to qualify for a mortgage or car loan. This is known as a rapid rescore.

Once you have rid your free credit score report of any incorrect information, you can then begin to add positive information. This might be through a new loan, a secured credit card or simply making responsible payments on the accounts you already have. By double-checking your credit report for errors you might save yourself a great deal of time in the task of recreating your credit merit.

Jeanne
